Christmas Through the Year - February

This month, I made a couple of Christmas presents. The first was a couple of luggage tags (posted about here) and I have also made this name panel for my nephew, Ewan:

Ewan

My sister reckons he'll be thrilled with it cos it's hard to get hold of things with his name on in the States as the name isn't popular over there. Let's hope he likes it as much as I enjoyed making it :-)

  1. I just looked at you luggage tags also....I just love them and I am sure Ewan will love his name panel. I keep forgetting I want to do something with the unruly letters!! You make it look so fun!
I love all the fabrics you choose, also.

  2. Lucky Ewan. Great fabric choices. I like your letters, especially they way you have the narrow diagonal on the N.

  3. I love your name quilt for Ewan, Viv! And I love his name, too. And believe it or not, it is becoming more popular since Ewan McGregor made movies etc, here. My great nephew born in Alaska in July was almost a Ewan...but his dad was 1,000 miles away and dashing through airports to get by his wife's hospital bedside..so he ended up being a Dashel, instead ;) My poor father, the great grandpa couldn't remember either name and kept asking..."what are they naming him?" But I love unusual names and I love them both. Your little Ewan will love this, too!!!PS..I really love how you used a laying down E to become a W. Fabulous idea!!!
