Yay, I finally got round to finishing my last Chrismtas name panel! I procrastinate terribly when it comes to finishing off projects - I hate binding - but then find it never takes as long as I think it's going to take.
Anyway, here it is, just in time for November's Christmas Through the Year challenge:
Check out what other folks have been making here. And a big thanks to Allie for hosting the Christmas Through the Year challenge! I never would have managed to get all these presents made without the encouragement and support of being part of this challenge.
I love all of your name panels. You have done very well to get them finished. I agree that the monthly challenge has been a great help.
ReplyDeleteAWESOME! I love those name quilts so so much. My favorite cousin was named Harry, so I think I'm partial to this one. *G*
ReplyDeleteLucky Harry!!! I think I have some of that black print, lol!
ReplyDeleteI think it's time I started making some name panels for the great nephew (and the 3 more greats we're expecting late this year and early next year) - in Christmas fabrics, ready for them to pull out each December when it's time to decorate for magic time - I might add a little pocket to hold a candy cane :D
What a great idea. I love that its so bright and cheerful. Nice work. I'm making placemats for my future daughter-in-law and I think I'll incorporate this "quilt-name" idea into those. Now, I must get off the computer and back to my sewing machine.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog - looking forward to TASTing in the New Year! Happy stitching - and reading!
