I have finished Ellie's name panel!
I ended up machine quilting cos the hand quilting spider's web with pearl cotton I tried went a bit pear shaped. I think the lines and spots on the fabric made me too cross eyed ;-)
I feel like I need a break from making name panels, so will be doing something different for April's present...watch this space...
LOVE IT! Not sure I could hand-quilt that, good call - it is so special, she'll love it!
ReplyDeleteI love this. It gave me an idea as to what I could do for my granddaughter. Very cute!
ReplyDeleteI love it! Lucky Miss Ellie!
ReplyDeletewhat a great job you have done of this name panel.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great panel. It looks great but I can imagine it would be a bit hard following it around on the machine.
ReplyDeleteI did a pieced name pillow for my daughter years ago when she went away to college -- I wish I had thought to make it wonky like this, because yours is so much cuter.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea.... and beautifully done...

Great job!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about lines and spots when hand quilting. That's why solids are so great.
What a darling personalized quiltie! The recipient will just love it, I know I would!
ReplyDeleteA great name banner...Ellie is sure to love it! It's wonky and wild, bright and cheerful! Love it!
ReplyDeleteEllie is going to love that banner! The colors just sing---CHEERFUL!!! Well done! Hugs, Mickie
ReplyDeleteIt came out just great! I think spiders and the dots are so much fun.
